We are delighted to announce the opening of a new Square Peg Recruitment office covering South Wales, Herefordshire, Gloucestershire and Avon.

Ian Jeffery , Managing Director, of the new business brings with him over 20 years experience in the automotive industry gaining his first Sales Manager role with a local Ford Dealer then moving on to be Area Manager for Ford Motor Co where he built up valuable contacts throughout South Wales and the West Country plus those at Ford Motor Co. Ian has held Senior managerial sales positions with plcs and owner drivers.

Based in South Wales Ian feels there is a good market opportunity with a growing Square Peg brand, as he is able to provide a quality local recruitment service to the motor trade.

In Support of Ovarian Cancer Action, Steven Close, Managing Director of our North West office will be taking part in a fundraising skydive in March 2012. Steven will be descending solo from 3000 feet to raise money and awareness for this excellent charity.

Ovarian Cancer Action is a charity close to Stevens heart, his sister, Emma was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer in 2002 and had aggressive Chemotherapy treatment for the following year. Fortunately, Emma made a full recovery and other than 2 check-ups a year her life is back to normal.

However, there were over 6,500 new cases of ovarian cancer diagnosed in the 2008 in the UK, around 126 women every week, 18 each day. Ovarian cancer and is the fifth most common cancer amongst females in the UK and the second most common gynaecological cancer after uterus.
